Abstract

The work of the media is essentially constructing reality, so the entire content of the media is a constructed reality. Making news in the media is basically nothing more than the compilation of realities to form a "story". With so many online media emerging, a lot of information is also presented in their own distinctive style. From the overall results of Entman's model framing analysis of coverage in Wamena Papua by Ceposonline.com, ANTARA Papua, and KabarPapua.co, researchers found that Ceposonline.com seemed to favor the wishes and demands of Papuans to improve the situation in Papua, which can be seen from the wordings that they use for the title and news content that takes the side of the organization in Papua. Whereas ANTARA Papua, whose coverage is related to the conflict that took place in Papua, leads a lot to the point of view of the government, as seen from the sources in the news, it emphasizes the police as part of the government. Likewise, KabarPapua.co, which in general is also a media in which its coverage is more directed at the government perspective viewed from the fast movement and government efforts in the recovery of the city of Wamena.
