Abstract

Technological developments and good internet access in the transportation sector are the cause of online transportation’s existency among the public. Online transportation is a combination of ojek transportation services using communication technology. This study aims to analyze the effect of online transportation driver income in Pangkalpinang City. The method used in this research is descriptive statistics with multiple linear regression analysis tools. Using primary data with the number of respondents 200 Grab drivers and 133 GO-JEK drivers. The results of the study simultaneously found that working hours, age, education, and work experience had a significant effect on the income of online transportation drivers in Pangkalpinang City. While partially working hours have a positive and significant effect, work experience has a negative and significant effect, while age and education have a positive and insignificant effect on the income of online transportation drivers in Pangkalpinang City.
