Carbon emissions have an adverse effect on the earth by contributing to the greenhouse effect resulting in climate change. More ever, on human health, carbon emissions also have an impacts. The International Energy Agency (IEA) has launched a carbon emission-free program in 2050.Indonesia is endowed with abundant geothermal sources due to the many volcanoes in Indonesia, but the potential has not been maximally utilized. In order to play a role in realizing a carbon emission-free Indonesia, the potential of geothermal energy as one of the renewable energy sources should be studied more deeply.
