Prinsip Kesantunan Berbahasa pada Film Cinta Subuh Karya Alii Farighi

Abstract

The formulation of the problem in this study, “What are the Politeness Priciples in the Film Cinta Subuh by Alii Farighi?”. The pupose of this research is to describe the Politeness Priciples in the film Cinta Subuh by Alii Farighi. The method in this research is a qualitative method. The technique of collecting data in this study is the technique of speaking freely and taking notes. The data in the film Cinta Subuh by Alii Farighi. The results of this study are that there are 26 utterances in the film Cinta Subuh by Alii Farighi which contain the principle of politeness, 5 maxims of wisdom, 3 maxims of modesty, 7 maxims of agreement, 3 maxims sympathy. Thus the dominant maxim is the maxim of agreement, namely 7 utterances.
