Inovasi Pengembangan Sektor Pertanian melalui Penerapan Aplikasi Among Tani di Kota Batu

Abstract

With regional autonomy organized, innovation becomes a necessity in the context of accelerating the economy of a region. One of the regional innovations currently being developed in Indonesia is the concept of a smart city or smart city. Batu City is one of the cities that is implementing this concept. As a city that is dubbed as an Agropolitan City, besides having agricultural potential, a sector that is experiencing threats due to various existing problems. The Among Tani application is a breakthrough in the agricultural sector in Batu City as a form of existing agricultural problems and as an embodiment of the concept of a smart city that is being implemented. This research was conducted to implement the Among Tani application and its economic impact in Batu City. The purpose of this research is to analyze (1) the implementation of the Among Farmers in Batu City and (2) the economic impact of the implementation of the Among Farmers on the agricultural sector in Batu City. Monitoring was carried out by the Batu City Communication and Information Office and the Batu City Agriculture Office, and the results obtained until 2018 were that the predetermined indicator indicators had not been met. Meanwhile, the economic impact due to the application of the Among Tani Application includes minimizing crop failure; market expansion; and time and cost costs
