Keywords:
Good Governance, Trade Openness, Economic Growth, Panel DataAbstract
This study attempts to examine, partially and concurrently, the impact of good governance and trade openness on the economic growth of the BRICS countries from 2014 to 2020. Classical assumption testing, a panel data linear regression model, hypothesis testing with t and F tests, and the coefficient of determination are the analysis techniques employed. A conclusion that can be drawn from the partial test analysis's findings is that institutional characteristics like voice and accountability (VA) and trade openness (TO) significantly and positively affect economic growth. Voice and Accountability (VA), Government Effectiveness (GE), Corruption Control (CC), and Trade Openness (TO) are simultaneously produced by the test findings, and these variables collectively have a substantial impact on economic growth.
