Pendampingan Teknik Pengumpulan Data Kuantitatif Berbasis Digital dalam Penyusunan Penelitian Ilmiah Mahasiswa

Abstract

The development of digital technology has brought significant changes to the process of scientific research, particularly in quantitative data collection techniques. However, there are still students who do not fully understand how to effectively and appropriately utilize digital media in research data collection. This community service activity aims to improve students’ understanding and skills in using digital-based quantitative data collection techniques in the preparation of scientific research. The implementation methods included socialization, training, and mentoring on the use of digital platforms such as Google Forms in designing research instruments and distributing online questionnaires. The participants of this activity were students who were preparing research proposals or final research projects. The results of the activity showed an improvement in students’ understanding of quantitative research instrument design techniques, digital data management, and the utilization of technology in scientific research processes. In addition, students became more skilled in conducting data collection effectively, efficiently, and systematically in the digital era. This activity is expected to support the improvement of the quality of students’ scientific research and strengthen digital literacy in the academic field.
